With groups creating programs to encourage females to consider STEM, what is the biggest barrier to entry that is still prevalent today?
I think it's still a battle for people's attention spans. Coding can be challenging. It requires attention and focus, something that is in short supply in todays' tech addicted world!
What or who inspires you?
I'm inspired by my Mom who has been a successful woman in tech since I was a kid, and I'm also inspired by all of the girls we see that come to our Jewelbots event. They are so smart. They are constantly shocking us by their confidence, imagination and bravery.
What is your proudest moment/accomplishment?
My proudest moment was the birth of my daughter, June. My proudest accomplishment was getting Jewelbots out into the world!
